Briefed History of OratCare Institute of Health (OIH)
Orat is my grandpa’s nickname, who has been a historian and instrumental in our society. This name was chosen to be the organization’s name because of his inspiration and ability to state that for a human being to be successful in life, they need to set up a future goal to ensure that their dream/career was made with success. As we struggle to achieve a better life and adapt to a new culture, the OIH will always help us accomplish the goals and challenges facing us today, hoping to outline the opportunities that promote cultural integration, education, environmental and health awareness, and hope to share the cultural activities based on the mission, vision, and purpose of the OIH. With Orat’s inspiration (He acted as a mentor, educator, and historian), the OIH was formed to inspire more young adults to understand the importance of education today, cultural integration, educational awareness, health, and environmental awareness to set an example to overcome cultural shock with the opportunity to promote hope and cultural awareness.
As a grandson, moving from South Sudan to the United States in 2004 has framed me into different cultures with the opportunity to learn and understand how important for us human beings to be aware of our culture and adapt to the new culture and environment. Therefore, always be positive and have the opportunity for change in your life. The OIH will always keep us in lops of the grandpa’s words of wisdom that have inspired me to accomplish a successful goal and career dream. Indeed, hard work, commitment, and dedication to following directions will allow this organization to understand the human effort and the determination to promote cultural awareness. Therefore, it is essential to realize that adding a positive phrase to words used by Grandpa encouraged OIH to do its daily commitment routine and continue struggling to meet the organizational purpose and goal.
Besides learning from the grandpa and community, we have learned from masters and proverbs spoken by some of the knowable people on earth that life is full of struggle and challenges. Albert Einstein once said, “There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle; the other is as though everything is a miracle.” The author stated that a human being is part of a whole, called by us the “Universe,” a part limited in time and space. The author experiences himself, his thoughts, and his feelings as something separated from rest and a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness to exercise its culture, defend its right, and develop its people. Thus, OratCare Institute of Health was formed, and the organization is organized exclusively for one or more purposes specified in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The corporation shall be a Nonprofit Corporation. The OIH could empower and synthesize the community to promote education and health awareness, cultural integration, and support cultural activities by closely understanding the lack of support for families and individuals to overcome cultural shock in North America.
Goals and Objectives
OratCare Institute of Health (OIH) focuses on promoting and synthesizing Communities in Maine with cultural integration, education, environmental and health awareness (activities including educational““““, cultural shock, traditional dance, and learning a standard language), which would be helpful for our young leaders to promote their dignities in different languages.
